In 1820, Kazimieras Plater established Stemplių Manor after dividing the lands of Švėkšna Manor. The manor holds historical significance as the residence of writer Simonas Stanevičius, who lived there for 12 years and curated Jurgis Plater's extensive library. Stemplių Manor still stands today, located just 2 kilometers north of Stemplių village. The manor complex includes three preserved buildings: a wooden residential house with a mansard roof, a wooden granary, and a clay barn with a gable roof. Painted in orange, the manor now belongs to private owners but retains its historical charm, attracting visitors with its authenticity.

Established in 1820, Stemplių Manor boasts a rich history connected to the noble Plater family. Following the division of Švėkšna Manor’s lands, Count Kazimieras Plater decided to create a manor on the outskirts of Stemplių village. Beyond being a noble estate, it became a cultural hub. Renowned writer and educator Simonas Stanevičius lived and worked there for 12 years, safeguarding Jurgis Plater's valuable library. The manor, located about 2 kilometers north of Stemplių village, has survived to the present day. The historic ensemble features three authentic structures: a single-story
wooden residential house with a mansard roof and stone foundations, a wooden granary, and a unique clay barn with a gable roof. The large residential building, painted orange and surrounded by trees, along with a weathered barn, lends the manor an enchanting, historical ambiance. Currently privately owned, Stemplių Manor continues to draw history enthusiasts and tourists with its authentic appearance and cultural significance. The preserved buildings, tranquil surroundings, and historical ties to Simonas Stanevičius make this manor a standout cultural heritage site in the Šilutė district.
