Skaraitiškės Manor is a unique part of Lithuania’s history, dating back to the 18th century. In 1838, the current Classical-style palace was built, distinguished by its high foundations and vaulted cellars.
During World War I, the manor served as a German military headquarters, but a fire destroyed much of the estate. Until 1940, it housed one of the richest libraries in the Raseiniai district, along with historical furniture and artwork. During the Soviet era, the manor was nationalized, and its owners were exiled.
Surrounded by a Romantic-style park, the manor has been privately owned since 1995, with its current owner dedicated to preserving its historical legacy.
