Vaitkuškis Manor, established in the 16th century, changed hands multiple times before becoming the property of the noble Kosakovskis family in 1764. In 1862, it was reconstructed in an impressive Neo-Gothic style, housing an art gallery, a valuable library, and an extensive collection of paintings.
During World War I, the manor was looted, and in World War II, the Nazis turned it into a ghetto. After the war, the estate fell into ruin, leaving only a surviving tower and remnants of the orangery. Today, the manor has been reclaimed by its owners, who offer guided tours in English and Polish.
