Olando Kepurė, a well-known moraine ridge on the Lithuanian coast, creates a stunning natural scene, rising 24.4 meters above sea level. This parabolic dune, formed by a retreating glacier, is distinguished by its dramatic 16–18 meter high slope, continuously shaped by wave action. The hill, named for its resemblance to a traditional Dutch hat when viewed from the sea, has historically served as a prominent navigational landmark, aiding sailors and fishermen. Located in the coastal area of Giruliai, Olando Kepurė is a charming tourist attraction, surrounded

by oaks and pines. The area was planted in the late 19th century, creating a park with various walking paths. Oaks, beeches, plane-leaved maples, and other ornamental plants were planted, providing the site with a unique aesthetic appeal. This natural heritage site exemplifies how nature and human efforts can combine to create a unique and attractive environment for both locals and tourists. The Olando Kepurė bluff, listed as a Natural Heritage Object, remains one of the most notable and geologically and culturally significant attractions in Lithuania.
